For a guitar that was basically in the trash it's starting to look like an instrument somebody cares about.
Saw the sunset from the Mississippi River levee.
Sunsets seen from the levee are more dramatic when there are clouds in the sky but I felt like taking pictures anyway.
I found an adolescent possum in my kitchen.
I opened the front door and turned out the lights, hoping she’d be brave enough to leave before Buddy came home (though he has no interest in possums, no play value).
We waited for Hurricane Francine.
This one knocked our power out for a day.
Buddy thought a package of books was food.
It sounded like food.
Buddy got home from surgery very groggy.
Basically he couldn't stand up yet right after the surgery.
Buddy continued to heal after his eye surgery.
He really refused to wear the cone at this point.
Buddy got in the bass drum again.
He looked pretty comfortable in there.
Buddy healed after his eye surgery.
He seemed to feel so much better after having his eye removed.
Buddy rested, three days after his eye surgery.
Buddy's acting more like himself, in that he's lying on the bed instead of under it (something he never did before).
Buddy had surgery to remove his left eye and to remove melanoma from his right eye.
It was a scary and sad time but he'll be all right.

Buddy has glaucoma and melanoma in his eyes, but he'll be okay.
Close to a month after I took this picture, Buddy got a diagnosis. He has glaucoma in his left eye (the one to the viewer's right).
