This is just a drawing, done during the Saints-Lions game of September 13, 2026, in which I was trying to better understand the talent of a UK illustrator named Charlotte Ager. I’m blown away by her work. I guess it looks pretty loose at first, but she is so good at capturing emotion and gesture. Her work is just wonderful to me. It’s reminiscent of the work of Quentin Blake but doesn’t feel like it’s cribbed from him; she’s got a whole personality of her own. I just like to see it when an artist draws in their most natural style and it’s obviously good.
