People sometimes talk about their artistic practice. I also occasionally practice. I doodle on things. I don't recommend it as a way to get anything done, but if I didn't to it I don't know if I'd ever draw.
I do draw better when I'm not thinking about it. When I "sit down to draw" I panic a little and it messes me up. I'd like to change this.
