There was so much going on at this party that I forgot the Stacks played. (Maybe we didn’t?) The point of it was for people to swap art. I took something, probably a Startlebot. I came away with this cool stencil of chimps drinking wine by Chad Mo.
But the think everyboy would remember was the debut (?) appearance of “Cousin Vicky”. She was Tom Beeman’s cousin from out of town. It was strange though, I never saw the two of them in the same room together. I hope they were getting along. Anyway, Cousin Vicky played her keyboards and sang her songs in a growly, masculine, hard-to-understand voice that was really novel and fresh.
