David Rhoden

I painted four luchador heads while I was visiting New Orleans.

I was home visiting my mother and I bought a jigsaw.

Four luchador heads by David Rhoden, New Orleans, September 24, 2007

I was living in New York again, two years after Hurricane Katrina basically forced me out (or deeply encouraged me to change my life). I still came back pretty often. On this trip I realized I could still sell these luchador paintings down south, so I bought a second Bosch jigsaw to use, intending to leave it at my mom's place, in the shed. Sadly, that didn't happen, because it disappeared; it was stolen from the shed after I used it once.
