Dear Subscriber,
Here it is, that "infrequent" newsletter I told you you'd be getting from me! I really do send it sometimes! Thanks for waiting. Let me just get right to whats been going on with me since the last one.
I WAS IN AN ART MARKET
I did an art market in Arabi, Louisiana, a town just outside of New Orleans, meaning a ten-block drive from the crib. I built a big honkin' collapsible apparatus out of two-by-fours and long bolts to hang my pitchers on, and I paid a $25 fee to be part of the festivities, but I sold ONE painting (that little monster with a lot of eyes!) for $90, so I came out $5 to $10 bucks ahead for the day.
I was so happy to sell it! The buyer seemed excited, I think the lil' monster went to a good home.
NEW PAINTINGS SINCE YOU HEARD FROM ME LAST:
Actually not much. But there's a couple:

DEMOLITION

They finally tore down the old abandoned and crumbling warehouse across the street from my house. I haven't heard of plans to put anything in there.
We have a new view of the sunset now.

Shadow enjoyed watching the demo work with me.

The blue house on the right is mine.

Speaking of Shadow, I found that rascal sitting in the rosebush out front. I thought it was so cute I took her picture, only to discover she was kind of stuck, and also that she was sitting in an angry blue jay's nest. I'm sorry to say the blue jay abandoned the eggs. They are really beautiful eggs. I'm sorry! We live out here in nature, we don't really have paved roads, we're part of the life cycle. The cats don't have any afterschool programs, they just run wild.

Buddy and Shadow mostly tolerate each other these days.

I still have these excellent Ts for sale on Cotton Bureau.
